Broomfield Mini Marathon 2011.This years Mini Marathon takes place on Sunday 9th October, starting from Teach Raithneach, Starinagh, Collon, at 2 pm. The Marathon will proceed through Starinagh, Hurcle, and Mellifont. Participants will retrace their steps to Teach Raithneach for refreshments. A Family Fun Day. Broomfield 10K Mini Marathon'The Broomfield 10K Mini Marathon will be held on Sunday 28th November starting at 12 noon.The Marathon was launched on Fri. 5th November by Drogheda Resident Mr. Oliver Murphy, Founder Member of the Irish Wheelchair Association. Oliver gave a very informative talk on the development of the Wheelchair Association over the past 50 years and formally launched the Mini Marathon.
